*Seffer is a champion at halter and performance through the Regional level, a Most Classic winner, of straight Crabbet (Skowronek-Blunt) breeding from the internationally influential program of the Archers' Worth Arabian Stud. He was foaled at Park Corner, literally a corner of Crabbet Park. *Seffer is blending with the solid structure of the older CMK lines while enhancing action, elegance and carriage. His first New Albion foals arrived in 1991 and his offspring continue to exceed our expectations in their beauty and action, and their lightness and intelligence. We have heard from the breeders of three of his Northwest offspring and they are excelling according to their opportunities, under saddle and as breeding horses in their turn.

SIRE: The short-lived Prince Saraph, a beautiful horse with a kindly nature, a fine sire and well placed at halter through the British Nationals and in ridden classes. He combined the Hanstead Stud's two great Rissalix sons, *Count Dorsaz and Blue Domino. His sire Samson was reserve British National Champion at age three to the great Indian Magic, then in his unbeatable prime. Samson was three-quarters brother to US and British national-level producers including Samaveda, Samurai and *Thorayya, and to the latter's US Top Ten and National Champion daughters, Al-Marah Sola Mia, and AM Countess Mine. He himself was primarily a sire of international-class show ponies; in his old age he got a few purebred foals of which Prince Saraph would prove the most influential. The prolific Princess Alia, dam of Prince Saraph, was out of the dynastic Princess Troubadour, full sister to British National Champion Lilac Domino and the key sire Ludo. Ludo and *Count Dorsaz both were winners of the Winston Churchill Cup in all-breed ridden classes as well as internationally important sires. Princess Alia has produced show winners and the important mare Princess Rubi'a: she was one of the few daughters of Indian Flame II, among the best sons of Indian Magic and one of three noteworthy ones out of the British National Champion Nerinora. Indian Flame also sired the major British winners Sharukh, Jacynth, the good sire Taqah, now in Qatar, and Silver Flame.

DAM: Sa'lilah, by the Worth-bred British National Champion Silver Flame, owned with the late Lady Anne Lytton who recognized his potential as a colt and chose him for her program at the Blunt Stud. Silver Flame sired major international winners in hand and under saddle including Golden Flambeau and is recognized as a speed influence in British Arab racing. His daughters are notable producing mares, headed by Azeme Bint Gleam, dam of the 1990 supreme in-hand champion at the British Nationals, Aureme by Aurelian by Ben Rabba. A Golden Flambeau daughter produced the young Wales and West Supreme Champion Aur Flair, again by Aurelian. Sa'lilah has four breeding sons in North America: *Sa'ika (in Florida) and *Seffer by Prince Saraph; *Seyad (now in Nevada) by Silver Scimitar; and the US halter champion *Carmagnole by *Carmargue, a regional winner in England when in race training. Her first daughter Sema by Prince Saraph is producing well in her own right, and she has an even more beautiful younger chestnut daughter by Silvern Idyll.

SECOND DAM: Sunset, major winner in hand and prolific quality producer from one of the great mare families. Her sire Bright Shadow, British National Champion of all Hanstead breeding, got the great show and producing mare Silver Sheen, her three-quarters sisters out of Silver Gilt, Golden Gilt and Sunset, and other major influences. Bright Shadow's sire Radi also got *Iorana, dam of *Ranix and Kimfa; his son Bey Shadow got the dams of such stars as Rostam, *Carmargue, World's Champion Aukubra and the champion Aurelian daughter Aurelia. Another, Bright Wings, got Padron's lovely dam *Odessa, and a third, Greylight, three-quarters brother to Sunset, became a leading sire in Australia. The Silver Flame daughter Azeme Bint Gleam is out of a half sister to Bright Shadow; their dam full sister to *Count Dorsaz.

THIRD DAM: Silver Gilt, "the most valuable brood mare in the world," dam of the British National Champion and international sire *Silver Vanity and the glorious British National Champion and producer Silver Grey, and foundress of one of the most respected and sought-after international female lines in the breed.
