We are planning to have an endurance presentation, with experienced riders commenting on horses with endurance records. It’s possible there’s not one “perfect trot” for all disciplines, but there should be a common denominator of efficiency and straightness of movement.

I will be donating four photo albums to the Convention for the auction. Two will be for Al Khamsa horses, and the other two will be for Crabbet horses in the UK and Europe, and CMK horses in the USA. I have started on these albums, and my aim is to have between 250 and 300 photos in each album. The UK one will contain a lot of the Crabbet horses including Ahmar, Kasida, Naseem, Raktha, Silver Vanity, Silver Drift, Indian Magic, Bright Shadow, Sirella, Silver Gilt etc. Also included will be Ralvon Pilgrim, Ralvon Elijah, Nazeena, Talquah Jesse and other imports. The USA album will include Aurab, Ben Rabba, Rollicka, Coalani, Mirseyn, Mir-bo-Seyn, Fermait, Raseyn, Raleh, Tiara etc.

I start and train my Arbians for endurance. I’d love to hear more about what you feel is the “perfect trot” or what constitutes it as well as other gait issues as well as sound conformational points to look at. I am wondering if Carol Mulder will be attending this event? I’d love to hear her speak.
